I signed up for the 70,000 bonus mile wyspend $4000. The end of the period is approaching. Does anyone have experience with Citi/AA extending the period because of the virus travel restrictions?

Traveling to Canada from FL with a US stopover. Will I receive free bags or not since it’s officially only for domestic flights. But the 1st leg is domestic (and Canada is also considered domestic in some regards with flights)

I just flew on AA from Athens 9/26/ 19 and left my AACC application which offered 60,000 miles
and spend a $1.00 to activate plus card fee after a year.

Hi there! You mentioned travel to Bolivia as an option. FYI, American is pulling out of Bolivia as of Nov 1 2019 (I think that’s the date, either way it is the last quarter of 2019)…
I know that LATAM services Bolivia and is part of the OneWorld Alliance. Could you help with how to book award tickets using AA miles with LATAM? I spoke with an AA rep and they said it has to be done on the phone, but the booking charge would be waived as there is no way to do it online. But I would like to know availability, mile consumption, peak-off peak, etc.
We have been flying AA to Bolivia for the past 7 years with miles, but now are worried about what to do.
Any help would be helpful. Thanks!

Unfortunately, direct “SAAver” flights are extremely difficult to find, which ultimately renders this card (and all other AAdvantage cards) close to useless.
Only options you can find, for example, for flights from DFW to Mexico (theoretically all 2 hours or less) if you want to use your miles, when they route you through Charlotte, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia or Phoenix, transforming it into an all day ordeal with no seat back entertainment, surly cabin crews and unreliable schedules.
